AC Motors

For most (H)EV applications, AC drive motors offer the best reliability - performance - efficiency combination. Standard AC motors for stationary industrial applications are available in numerous versions at relatively low price. However, for (H)EV applications these standard AC motors are not suitable.

We can offer AC motors specifically designed for (H)EVs from various suppliers. These AC motors do have the following properties:

We distinguish 3 basic types for EV use, induction (asynchronous), PM synchronous and brushless DC.
